Implants

In some situations dental implants are the best treatment option. We most often use these where there are one or two missing teeth that are adjacent to undamaged teeth that we want to maintain, or where a denture does not have enough grip on the jaw. The implants are placed by specialists and the teeth are usually restored by us.

Extractions
Though we hate to see them leave, sometimes it is necessary for teeth to be extracted. To have the tooth extracted most efficiently, we usually refer our extractions to an oral surgeon. We may do our own less complicated extractions or extractions where an immediate aesthetic concern needs to be addressed, and we often do extractions on children's teeth.

Root Canals

Often a tooth's root structure may be solid, but the nerve is damaged beyond repair. If this is the case, it may be necessary to have root canal treatment. The root canal horror stories usually have their basis in older techniques or teeth that have been left untreated for a long time. All of our root canal treatments are done by one of our root canal specialists or endodontists to achieve the best and most comfortable results. Most of our patients say their experience at the endodontists office was one of the better dental experiences they have ever had!

Periodontal Surgery
Sometimes the health of the gum supporting your teeth cannot be maintained by the procedures we have available at our office. At that time we refer to a periodontist for your periodontal maintenance or surgery. The periodontist has the ability to save very unstable teeth through periodontal surgery and grafting.
